Drawing Session 1: June 24 - June 28 - SESSION FULL Painting Session 2: July 15 - July 19 - SESSION FULL Session 3: July 29 - August 2 - SESSION FULL Tuition fee: $680.00 per session, all materials included. All sessions are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm There are no refunds for summer sessions after May 31st. Daily picnic lunches are planned. Each student will need to bring a bag lunch. A swim bag with swimsuit and towel should also be brought to the studio each day. The school at Studio Seven is committed to the belief that all human beings are by nature creative and that the creative spirit within each of us needs to be encouraged, nurtured and developed. The goal of this program is to help each student to take pride in their own uniqueness, to enhance individual self esteem, and to further an understanding of their own personal expression. The students at Studio Seven work directly with the artist in a studio environment. Class sizes are kept small in order to ensure direct individual assistance. The curriculum is designed to artistically challenge children and young adults, ages seven through seventeen. One week painting and drawing sessions will be offered at the studio this summer. The sessions will run Monday through Friday, students may arrive anytime after 8:30 am and pick up time is at 5:00 pm. Compositional elements will be explored through landscape and figure studies. Students will paint and draw both in the studio and outside, (weather permitting). Since exposure to many forms of artistic expression is an intricate part of creative learning the Studio Seven program includes field trips to galleries, museums and the Minneapolis Art Institute.
